Projects

Top End Uranium Limited (TEU) is a uranium exploration and development company with rights over tenements covering some 33,000sq km in the Northern Territory, Australia.  The primary focus of TEU's exploration is unconformity-type uranium mineralisation similar to that which occurs in the East Alligator River Region of the Northern Territory (e.g. Ranger, Jabiluka, Koongara and Nabarlek).  World-class deposits of this type are also found in similar age geological settings in the Athabasca Basin in Canada at depths of up to 600 metres beneath the overlying sandstones.

TEU's secondary focus is alternative models for uranium mineralisation especially those of the Westmoreland-type where uranium mineralisation occurs at higher levels within the sediment-volcanic pile that overlies the basal unconformity.

The Company's tenements are in three separate areas of the Northern Territory all of which are considered to have potential to host uranium mineralisation:

1. The McArthur South Project area lies midway between Darwin and Mt Isa. The Exploration Licences ("ELs") over which TEU hold uranium rights potentially cover lithologies, which host uranium mineralisation at Westmoreland which is located 120km east of the project area.
2. In Arnhem Land, TEU holds uranium mineral rights over a number of ELs that occur on the Arnhem Shelf along the western margin of the McArthur Basin within 100km of the East Alligator River uranium field. Uranium rights are also held over additional potentially prospective ELs which are located along the eastern margin of the McArthur Basin. Collectively, these areas comprise TEU's Arnhem Land Project. Reconnaissance stream sediment geographical samples taken on three granted tenements in Arnhem Land in early 2010 have reported anomalous gold responses of up to 122ppb. 
3. In the Daly River Region of the Northern Territory, TEU's Yambarra Project comprises uranium exploration rights over a group of ELs which lie along a major tectonic zone that links the Pine Creek Orogen, one of Australia's richest mineral fields to the Halls Creek Mobile Belt.
