Top End Uranium Limited (TEU) is a uranium exploration and development company with rights over tenements covering some 33,000sq km in the Northern Territory, Australia. The primary focus of TEU's exploration is unconformity-type uranium mineralisation similar to that which occurs in the East Alligator River Region of the Northern Territory (e.g. Ranger, Jabiluka, Koongara and Nabarlek). World-class deposits of this type are also found in similar age geological settings in the Athabasca Basin in Canada at depths of up to 600 metres beneath the overlying sandstones.
TEU's secondary focus is alternative models for uranium mineralisation especially those of the Westmoreland-type where uranium mineralisation occurs at higher levels within the sediment-volcanic pile that overlies the basal unconformity.
